Host a Veteran Challenge

Become a part of Outlaw Desert Racing #adrenalinetherapy program on a national level!  Since we teamed up with Da_blackpearl and have incorporated drag racing into our therapy program, we have been able to offer another experience for our #heros. 

Here is all you have to do to Host a Veteran

1. Pay for the veteran’s ticket to get in the gates and get them a wrist band for pits/starting line (team wrist band) and parking pass if needed.
   1. We know some sanctioning bodies will not allow non crew members to the start line etc. We know you will make it fun for the veteran/first responder and we can’t thank you enough for accepting this challenge so do what you are able to do. 
2. Make them a part of the team for the weekend If you can.
   1. Some teams like Top Fuel NHRA are under a time restraint so the veteran/first responder will have to sit back and stay clear of the chaos while turning the car around for the next round.
3. Give them a task, everyone can use a helping hand. (Veterans are task oriented, even the smallest task on a race team is HUGE)
4. If you have swag, give em a shirt and hat
5. Take pictures with them and post on your social media, tag Outlaw Desert Racing so we can share your pictures and retag back, also use the following hashtags

6. Give the veteran an experience that they will never forget plus you just created a #fanforlife
7. Let’s give back to our heroes’ both military and first responders! NO MAN LEFT BEHIND

HOW TO FIND A VETERAN/FIRST RESPONDER?  ANNOUNCE IT AT THE TRACK FOR VETERANS/FIRST RESPONDERS TO STAND UP IN THE STANDS.  PICK ONE AND MAKE THEIR WEEKEND OR CONTACT A LOCAL VETERAN ORGANIZATION SUCH AS THE VFW, DAV ETC…..    You can always reach out to us and we will assist you in locating a veteran/first responder. 

Creating that memory that could be the thing they needed to NOT do something that is a permanent end.  We want to create this challenge to become a national challenge at all No-Prep events and more!
